He really eased my mind with being the one responsible to photograph the biggest day of our life! I had never met him until the actual wedding day, but I felt totally confident that he would do an outstanding job based on the recommendations I got and having multiple conversations with him before the wedding via phone and email. Every time I contacted him, he was totally available and very prompt. One time I talked to him on the phone around noon, and we discussed him putting some things together for me and sending me an email. Eric sent me an email with all the info within an hour. He is definitely a professional, get it done kind of guy. He did not procrastinate on anything which makes us crazy brides feel at ease.

The BEST part that made me feel so good about choosing Eric as a photographer was his flexibility. He gave us a personalized payment schedule which was very helpful with all of the other expenses. Also, during our stay at St. Croix, he was totally flexible when it rained the entire day of our wedding and we had to switch venues at the last minute. The new plan was to meet that afternoon at a resort. With all of the rain, one of the “shortcut” roads we attempted to take was totally flooded; we were unable to cross and had to find a different way. Needless to say, we were late and Eric had to wait on us in the lobby for almost an hour. Instead of being rude or upset that we were late, Eric was totally relaxed. He said, “No worries, I understand. We’re on island time. Things happen.” I was so relieved and impressed. Before, during, and after the ceremony, he was phenomenal. We got so many great shots! He was taking pictures of everything and everyone in the wedding party.

Eric and I had discussed a trash the dress event prior to the wedding. We met up at sunset the day after the wedding in our wedding clothes to do the session. Eric was amazing! He was so willing to do any shot that we wanted. He has wonderful ideas and was excited to do anything that we suggested as well. The best part about the day was getting into the ocean with our wedding clothes on and having wonderful pictures to have for the rest of our lives. This is how awesome Eric is, he actually got out in the water with us!! Yes, he took himself AND his expensive camera into the ocean! We were speechless and so thankful we found him to be our photographer!

Thank you Eric for giving us such precious memories for the most special day in our lives! We are so grateful! We look forward to getting you to take some more pictures for us one day!

Eric brought his equipment to the house after I got the owners’ permission and he took some of the most amazing photos I have seen to date. The lighting in each shot was perfect, the photos are wonderful! Eric is a highly skilled photographer and his desire to make each photo perfect really shows in his work. After a remodeling and refurbishing to the Guest Rooms at our hotel, the Hibiscus Beach Resort, we were looking for a professional photographer to take some nice, new shots of the interiors of the remodeled rooms.

The pictures that we had previously been using had been sufficient until that point; however, our photography equipment did not have the capability of taking excellent interior shots, that would also captivate the beauty of the views of the outside from inside the rooms. Without the proper photography equipment, the bright tropical sunlight from outside tended to wash out the pictures we took ourselves.

We had learned of Eric Crossan through an associate at our resort. Upon his next visit to St Croix, he scheduled an informal meeting with us to show us his portfolio. We were very impressed. In addition, he had a residence on the island and spent time on St Croix, which meant to us that he would have a greater nuance about the “feel” of the photographs that we wanted to have taken.

Once our Guest Rooms renovation was complete, we scheduled a time for Eric to come to shoot our new rooms. I am very organized and particular and know exactly what end result I am seeking when I begin a venture, and I must say that Eric seemed to already know and understand exactly what I was looking for. He was very professional with a pleasant demeanor and overall very easy to work with. He was very adept at capturing the look that I myself was interested in seeing, but also, brought his extensive knowledge and background into the project, enhancing several aspects of the work in ways that I had not thought of. He never rushed the project but spent the full amount of time necessary to make sure that we had captured as many shots as possible to have a great selection to choose from.

All of this resulted in some extraordinary photographs, which we have been extremely pleased with. Because of this and also because of his very fair pricing, we will likely be calling upon him again once the exteriors of our buildings have been completed, and I have full faith that even should I not be able to be there at the time, that Eric would understand exactly what I was looking for and would provide us with excellent photographs. I’m happy to give a professional recommendation on behalf of Eric Crossan Studios.
